A bad Apple?
Apple is apparantly facing five different class action lawsuits over the iPod battery. I've had my iPod about a year and a half and so far, I haven't had any battery problems, but I don't run it off the battery much, I use the AC or car adaptor. But, even if the battery does eventually play out, I'll be pissed, but, after all, it is a battery and batteries don't last forever. What Apple needs to do is re-engineer the iPod just a bit to have a consumer-replaceable battery that they can then sell for an arm and a leg at the Apple store. That way, everyone will be equally unhappy. (iPods still rule, however.)
