An article I stumbled across today has a couple of important lessons.
1. If you're going to stand on a pedistal and preach, you'd better be sure to practice what your preaching, because someone's going to surly call you on it when you don't.
2. Asy the old saying goes: Don't pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel and paper by the ton.

This Blog will be a more constructive use of my energy than just screaming at the walls. It will be my ravings about politics, society, popular culture and plenty of things most people really don't care too much about.
I'm a recovering journalist who finally left the rat race to my quiet public library where I can actually do some good. I grew up in a small town and have finally returned to that same small town, something which I said I would never do. But I have managed to find some peace of mind among the familiar hills and valleys of what is truly home.
